Trading Corn Silage

Pricing corn silage can be challenging for both buyers and sellers. The publication at right describes a negotiation process buyers and sellers can use to establish fair corn silage market prices. Quality discounts are considered for drought-stressed corn. An Excel spreadsheet may be downloaded to help calculate a price customized for producer inputs and forage quality.
